Armageddon (1996-1997, 2000-present): a Death Metal band from Halmstad, Sweden.
Crossing The Rubicon (1997) was a display of aggressive thrash metal featuring similarities with Christopher Amott's (guitars/vocals) other band Arch Enemy. Featuring Jonas Nyren (vocals), Martin Bengtsson (bass) and Peter Wildoer (of Arch Enemy; drums) the album boasted enough diversity and quality to make it a worthwhile event, but Amott split the act up when he (along with brother Mike who joined as guest on the album devoted his energies to Arch Enemy.

New albums surfaced in 2000 and 2002, however, released in Japan only with new lineups including Amott himself with Rickard Bengtsson (vocals), Dick Lowgren (bass) and Daniel Erlandsson (drums) on Embrace the Mystery (2000) and Amott with Tobias Gustafsson (ex-Eucharist; bass) and Daniel Erlandsson (of Arch Enemy/ex-Eucharist/ex-In Flames; drums) for Three (2002) an album coming across as more of a European styled power metal with Amott (now singing as well as guitar) and Erlandsson continuing with both Arch Enemy and Armageddon.

2012 saw a line-up change featuring Matt Wicklund (guitar), Van Williams (drums) and Sara Claudius (bass). The next change would be in 2014 with Joey Concepcion (guitars) and Márton Veress (drums) with Andrew Pevny joining on bass in 2016. Under these new line-ups, Captivity & Devourment (2015) and Crossing the Rubicon (Revisited) (2016).
