WarrantBIOGRAPHYWarrant (1983-1985, 1999-present): a Speed Metal band from Dusseldorf, Germany. B earing no relation to the US based glam metal act, this Warrant was a group of Germans flogging basic Accept influenced German speed metal of little innovation but considered capable for the mid 1980s on the 'Noise' label. Featuring the line-up of Jörg Juraschek (bass/vocals), Thomas Klein (guitar) and Lothar Wieners (drums), they would release First Strike EP in 1984 and The Enforcer (1985; featuring Oliver May (guitar) added) before breaking up. A re-issue, The Enforcer/First Strike (re-issue) collective album was issued in 1999. The collective album was interesting for soon after the band reformed to release a couple of compilations and Metal Bridge (2014) featuring Thomas Rosemann (drums), Jörg Juraschek (vocals/bass), Dirk Preylowski (guitars). The Speed of Metal (2025) would credit apparently only Jörg Juraschek (vocals/bass/lyrics) even though the band boasted the membership of Michael Dietz (guitars), Marius Lamm(drums) and Adrian Eric Weiss) along side him.
