Hallows EveBIOGRAPHYHallows Eve (1984-1988, 2003-present): a Thrash Metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. F ounded in 1984 by Stacy Anderson (vocals), David Stuart (guitar), Tommy Stewart (bass) and the ridiculously named Skellator (guitar; obviously a fan of the He Man cartoon) and Tym Helton (drums). Boasting a quasi-thrash rough noise style with Anderson's death style grunts Hallows Eve would release the Tales Of Terror (1985) on the [you guessed it] 'Roadrunner' label. Death & Insanity (1986) and Monument (1988) would follow, their sound improving slightly on each attempt, the latter complete with a rendition of Queen's Sheer Heart Attack amongst its tracks, and also featuring Ronny Appoldt replacing Helton who was subsequently replaced on the former album with Rob Clayton, and missing Skellator. The act closed up shortly later when Anderson quit. In late 2003 the band was reactivated with a new lineup including bassist Tommy Stewart, guitarist Skully (who went by the name Skellator on the debut album), Steven Cannon (vocals), Dwayne Monk (guitar) and Dave Jensen (drums) for live performances with recording sessions planned. Footnote: Steven Cannon is the operator of the on-line heavy metal webzine Vibrations Of Doom.
