t would be a year after opening shop that Helpness would debut with Memento Mori under the membership of Lukáš Schmidt (bass), Dorian Jančík (drums), Erich Dvořák (guitars) and René Osmančík (drums). After the follow-up, 2001's Dvojka, the line-up changed to feature Zdeněk Leščinský (guitars/vocals) and Rada Skupien (bass) for Gallery of Generations (2003).

After A Certain Way (2006) and Fatal Formation (2010), the membership would take on its current formation, René Osmančík (drums), Marcel Kachyňa (guitars), Pavel Herich (guitars/vocals) and Martin Strejc (bass) for the Own King EP in 2017.
