Panzerchrist (1993-present): a Black Metal band from Aarhus, Midtjylland, Denmark.

arly mentions of Panzerchrist always seemed to contain reminders that this was the home to "the world's fastest drummer". It appears that said drummer, Reno Kiilerich, won some competition somewhere, and yes, he's definitely an excellent drummer, though he's long gone from this band. Panzerchrist is one of the better-known Danish death metal -come black metal - bands, having formed in 1993 and recording steadily until 2013's 7th Offensive, after which there was a ten-year gap before their effort in 2023.

Under the debut line-up of Finn Henriksen (guitars), Lasse Hoile (vocals), Jes Christensen (guitars (lead)), Nicolej Brink (bass) and Michael Enevoldsen (drums), Panzerchrist would release Six Seconds Kill in 1996.

It would be in 1999 when the act returned under a modified line up with Outpost - Fort Europa featuring both guitar slots filled by Rasmus Normand (guitars) and Kim Jensen (guitars), as well as the bass and keyboards filled by Karina Bundgaard. More changes would follow with Soul Collector (2000) under the new membership of Reno Killerich (drums), Michael Kopietz (guitars/bass (tracks 1, 6-8)/vocals (track 7)) and Bo Summer (vocals).

The guitars were once again completely changed for Roomservice (2003) and Battalion Beast (2006) with Frederik O'Carroll and Rasmus Henriksen (R.I.P. 2025; guitars (rhythm)).

After the Forever Panzer EP in 2007, Regiment Ragnarok saw the next line-up change in 2007 with Magnus Jørgensen (vocals), Lasse Bak (guitars/keyboards) and Mads Lauridsen (drums), while 7th Offensive (2013) saw another line-up change in the form of Nils Petersen (guitars), Søren Lønne (vocals) and Simon Schilling (drums/lyrics (track 9)).

Last of a Kind (2023) saw the band return after over a decade hiatus and the revised membership of Danni Jelsgaard (drums) and Sonja Rosenlund Ahl (vocals/songwriting).

Danny Bo Guitars would take second guitar for the All Witches Shall Burn (2024).

Maleficium - Part 1 saw drums replaced by Ove Lungskov, while the follow-up for that release, Maleficium - Part 2 would see Rune V Wasmer take bass.
