Fast KutzBIOGRAPHYFast Kutz (1984-1987, 2013-present): a NWOBHM band from UK. T his short lived English act was one of the later signings to 'Ebony Records', releasing Burnin' in 1987 under the membership of Paul Fowler (drums), Keith Davison (vocals), Neville Percival (bass) and Kenny Nicholson (guitars) as the NWOBHM movement was settling down to a handful of purveyors such as Saxon and Iron Maiden to name just two. Fast Kutz's style owes far less to the rougher early eighties Brit metal sound and more towards a classic 80s anthemic metal style, but with questionable production quality typical of the day. The band split in 1987, soon after the release of their one-and-only album but have since tried a reunification under the membership of Ian McLaughlin (bass), Paul Fowler (drums), Ian Gillson (guitars) and Keith Davison (vocals). ** This article is also available on our official app.
