Armory

ailing from Massachussetts, Armory was formed in 2001 by guitarist Chad Fisher and drummer/guitarist Joe Kurland. Along with Tom Preziosi on bass, Adam Kurland on vocals, and Pete Rutcho joining later on keyboards in 2007, by 2004 they would release their debut album, however apparently the original recording suffered quality-wise and the whole thing was redone, released three years later under the same title as The Dawn of Enlightenment. If there's one thing to be said about Armory, it's that they are one of the most un-American sounding bands to originate from the USA. That debut album showcased their more European power metal style. Empyrean Realms would follow in 2013.
