RevocationBIOGRAPHYRevocation (2006-present): a Thrash Metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. T hese Bostonians formed in 2000 originally as Cryptic Warning but changed their name to Revocation in 2006, eventually attracting the interest of 'Relapse Records'. Their style straddles the line between technical death and thrash to release Empire of the Obscene (2008) under the line-up of Anthony Buda (bass/vocals (backing)/lyrics: tracks 1, 3, 4, 6-8, 10, 11), Phil Dubois-Coyne (drums) and David Davidson (guitars/vocals (lead)/songwriting/lyrics: tracks 2, 3, 7). The debut would be followed by Existence Is Futile (2009). Chaos of Forms (2011) would see the first line change of Dan Gargiulo taking guitars and vocals. Revocation (2013) and Deathless (2014) would see the next change of Brett Bamberger on bass. Great Is Our Sin (2016) would be next, and with it came another membership change, this time with Ash Pearson on drums. This line-up would remain for The Outer Ones (2018) and Netherheaven (2022).
