tandard-issue thrash metal from the Pacific Northwest. Originally named Cold Steele from 1985-1987 when they renamed themselves, they managed to have their first album produced by the Exodus guitar duo of Gary Holt and Rick Hunolt (who also guested on the debut album), but ultimately this band became a victim of the numbers game, as their brand of thrash metal was simply too prevalent at the time.

With the sole membership of Jeff Braimes (vocals), Martin Chandler (guitars), Jorge Hernandez (bass) and Jack Coy (drums), Panic would release Epidemic (1991) and Fact (1993).
