The Rhubarb

lthough the name The Rhubarb seems strange and almost silly, the origin of the band using it as a name comes from the technique used by extras in movies, where they would mouth the word "Rhubarb" soundlessly, to appear as if they were talking. Taking on the strange name somewhere around 2016, Scottish act, The Rhubarb would debut with the Hear My Cries EP in 2016 under the membership of Joe Robson (guitars), Colin Mayer (guitars), Sean Maguire (vocals), Hannah White (vocals/bass) and Jack Donnelly (drums). The Black Sun EP (2020) followed, this time with Michael McConville taking over from Robson. Symptom of Failure, their first full-length, would follow in 2023.
