The QuillBIOGRAPHYThe Quill (1986-1992, 1992-present): a Stoner Metal band from Mönsteras, Kalmar, Sweden. T he interestingly-named The Quill emerged in the early nineties (some members previously played in a similarly-named band, Quil dating back to 1986) and have made their mark on the stoner rock scene although they are not strict to that genre and often drift into a straight-up heavy metal style. Their debut Out of Blue Corners under the membership of George Atlagic (drums), Christian Carlsson (guitars), Tommy Carlsson (vocals), Anders Haglund (keyboards) and Peter Karlsson (bass) would arrive in 1989, followed by The Quill coming after their reformation in 1995, followed by Silver Haze in 1999 both with a change of membership in the form of Roger Nilsson (bass) and Magnus Ekwall (vocals). Evermore (EP; 1999), Voodoo Caravan (2002), Hooray! It's a Deathtrip (2003) and In Triumph (2006) then followed before another line-up change of Magz Arnar taking vocals, and Robert Carlo Triches on bass for Full Circle in 2011, Tiger Read Less... ⏫ ** This article is also available on our official app.
