Last in LineBIOGRAPHY Last in Line (2012-present): a Heavy Metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA. O riginally forming as Dio tribute band and naming themselves after the Dio album The Last in Line (1984), with one of the founding members Vivian Campbell (guitars) also being ex of Dio. Along with Vinny Appice (drums), Andrew Freeman (vocals) and Jimmy Bain (R.I.P. 2016; bass), they would debut with original material on Heavy Crown (2016), followed by II (2019) that featured Phil Soussan on bass due to the death of Bain of lung cancer. Jericho would follow in 2023. Despite the connections to Dio the band sounds little like it; choosing a more standard heavy metal structure.
