Sleestak

eaders of a certain vintage might remember a TV show that aired between 1974-1976 called Land of the Lost and an alien race called Sleestak. The band by the same name here take their lyrics and themes based on these characters and would debut in 2010 with Skylon Express under the membership of Dan Bell (bass), Marcus Bartell (drums), Brian Gresser (guitars) and Matt Schmitz (guitars/vocals). The next year the album would be quickly followed-up with The Fall of Altrusia (2011) and Altrusian Moon - A Lo-Fi Collection of Psychedelia and Space Rock (2012).

As of the Book of Hours EP (2013) the bad was reduced to the three-piece sans Gresser. he band would remain so thru Altrusian Moon: Volume Two (2016), Aeon (2020) and Harbinger (2022).
