heir name Dajjal is Arabic for prevaricator or falsifier. The band's name is also an acronym for "Dari Jejeran Jalan".

With Denny Guick (drums/vocals (backing)), Barock (Real Name: Didi Kurniadi; vocals), Kiming (Real Name: Wawan Muhammad Tohra; bass/vocals (backing)) and Dayax (guitars (lead)), Dajjal would debut with Amarah in 2000.

The follow-up, Human Dark Side in 2014 saw the line-up switch to Barock now with Runal Goulon Simatupang (drums), Zulf (guitars) and Karkash Sulaeman (guitars). A compilation would follow in 2020.
