Taramis

tarting out life under the name Prowler the obscure Australian band Taramis, a name taken from a character from the book "A Witch Shall Be Born" by R.E. Howard, would debut with Queen of Thieves (1987) under the line-up of Dave Browne (R.I.P. 2009; drums), Shane (Joel) Southby (vocals), Craig Robertson (guitars) and Danny Komorr (bass). Stretch of the Imagination would follow in 1991 with Evan Harris taking bass, and George Larin now on guitars. The band would then split and reform on a couple of occasions but have yet to record again except for a compilation in 2022.
