nder the line-up of Wolfgang Sonhütter (drums), Horst Götz (guitars), Stefan Kroll (guitars), Ralf Simon (bass) and Christian Bucher (vocals), Vectom was one of several lesser-known German heavy metal bands that saw a taste of action in the eighties. Had they come out a few years later they no doubt would have played thrash metal, but as they were a bit early for that, their style is more speed metal based, typical for the time. After the debut Speed Revolution in 1985, the same line-up would return with Rules of Mystery in 1986. After another attempt with a 1993 demo the band split leaving only a posthumous compilation in 2006.
