eaturing brothers Timmy Amsbuist (guitar/vocals) and Willjious Amsbuist (drums) as well as Elwood Chew (bass; who replaced "Magloo" who was only in during 1981), Medieval would be another alumni of the Metal Massacre series of compilations by 'Metal Blade' but, unlike many of their brethren, they singed to 'New Renaissance' for their debut self-titled EP in 1987. Their short and grungy track on Metal Massacre lacked production but spared nothing in depth and heaviness. Unfortunately their follow-up recording didn't live up to that promise, and after the Medieval Kills! album in 1987 they disappeared.

In 2008, Medieval returned to release Medieval Kills!/Medieval EP compilation (2008), Live '04 live (2010), The Demo Recordings compilation (2010) and One Morbid... A Poser Holocaust compilation (2014).
