ExisesBIOGRAPHY Exises (1984-1998, 2019-present): a Progressive Metal band from Zaandam, Netherlands. T he Dutch band Exises first formed in the late seventies and went through the typical lineup and style changes before landing a record contract with 'Megaton' for their self-titled debut in 1986 under the membership of Frank Leurs (vocals/keyboards), Michel Siethof (guitars), Adri Sleyster (bass/vocals (backing)) and Berend Houter (drums). It is claimed that the album is the first rock CD released in the Netherlands. Reternity (1996) followed it up with a slight membership change in Co Timmer (vocals/vocals (backing & background)) and René Schaap (keyboards/vocals (backing)/effects). The band parted ways in 1998, but reunited for a live performance on March 16, 2019 with new members Nanne Tiggelman (drums) and Phoenix Reborn (vocals) but have yet to record again.
