Exhumation

eath metal act Exhumation enjoyed a bit of success in the late nineties with their three albums, their style being a blend of mostly mid-paced death metal, gothic (mostly due to the keyboards), and a bit of the standard Greek style of dense, dark metal. Guitarist Marios Iliopoulos has since formed Nightrage. With the line-up of John Nokteridis (bass/vocals), Panos Giatzoglou (guitars (rhythm)), Marios Iliopoulos (guitars (lead)) and Pantelis Athanasiadis (drums), Exhumation would release Seas of Eternal Silence (1997), Dance Across the Past (1998) and Traumaticon (1999). The band split the next year.
