Dark Wizard

his is the kind of band sought after by 80's completists or vinyl collectors, but by purely musical standards there just wasn't much here that wasn't done better by others. That said, under the membership of Berto Van Veen (vocals), Hans Pohl (guitars), Marcel DeGroot (guitars), Kees Reinders (bass) and Tony Wuite (drums) Dark Wizard would release Devil's Victim (EP; 1984) and Reign of Evil (1985). The band split sometime soon after (presumably around 1986) only to reform again in 2011 to release Close in the Dark in 2018 under the revised membership of Kees Reinders (bass/vocals (backing)), Tony Wuite (drums), Egbert Berenst (vocals (lead)) and Marcel Hop (guitars).
