riginally started in 1986 as the one-man project of guitarist Fredrik Söderberg, however, upon moving from Stockholm to Linköping, he found other members and changed the band's name to Obduracy. When that lineup split, Söderberg and those who remained with him eventually reformed again as Dawn in 1990. By 1994 the membership had settled on Henke Forss (vocals/lyrics: tracks 2-7/songwriting: tracks 6, 8), Andreas Fullmestad (guitars/songwriting: tracks 6, 8), Fredrik Söderberg (guitars/songwriting: tracks 1-8), Lars Tängmark (bass) and Karsten Larsson (drums). Sorgh på svarte vingar fløgh (1996) would follow.

For Slaughtersun (Crown of the Triarchy) (1998) would see a membership change in the form of Jocke Pettersson taking drums. Henke Ekeroth took bass soon after.
