Serpentcult

his project is the continuation of Thee Plague Of Gentlemen, formed after the breakup of that band due to legal troubles of its founding member. Originally Serpentcult featured female vocalist (Michelle Nocon) on the debut recording Trident nor Fire (EP; 2007) and 2008's Weight of Light, but on their last album, 2011's Raised by Wolves, she's gone and save for some sparse, distant blackened howls, the album is almost totally instrumental. The remaining membership, Frédéric Caure (ex-Thee Plague Of Gentlemen; guitars), Steven Van Cauwenbergh (ex-Thee Plague Of Gentlemen; bass) and Frederik Cosemans (Death Penalty; drums), remained present for the final album, Raised by Wolves (2011).
