Gates of Ishtar

ith the membership of Oskar Karlsson (R.I.P. 2016 of heart failure; drums), Mikael Sandorf (vocals), Andreas Johansson (guitars), Tomas Jutenfäldt (guitars) and Niklas Svensson (bass), Gates of Ishtar, formerly known as Disrupt between 1992-1994, would debut with A Bloodred Path (1996), followed by The Dawn of Flames (1997), now featuring Henrik Aberg (drums) and Danjel Röhr (R.I.P. 2022 of cancer; bass). The next effort, At Dusk and Forever (1998), saw the band reduced to a three-piece under the command of new member Urban Granbacke (guitars) along side Sandorf and Karlsson.
