Mountain Witch

ot to be confused with Witch Mountain, this German band led by the two Renés (René Roggmann (drums/vocals) and René Sitte (guitar/organ) ) plays a brand of doomy hard rock with Black Sabbath intones as seen on their debut, Scythe & Dead Horse (2010), and EP, Mountain Witch (2011), the latter adding Sebastian Dietz on bass.

With Cold River (2013) and Burning Village (EP; 2016), the bass position was taken by Tobert Knopp. Extinct Cults (2020) saw the band reduced back to the two René's.
