Disembowelment (1989-1993): a Death Metal band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

xploring the extreme end of doom metal mixed with death metal by featuring long, droning songs drenched in gloom, Disembowelment would debut with the Dusk EP in 1992, followed quickly by their only full-length, Transcendence into the Peripheral (1993), under the membership Renato Gallina (vocals/guitars), Jason Kells (guitars), Matthew Skarajew (bass) and Paul Mazziotta (drums).

Footnote: Gallina and Skarajew formed a folk/ambient band called Trial of the Bow during their time in Disembowelment.
Footnote: Two members have reactivated the project first as d.USK (that project being a Disembowelment/Trial of the Bow tribute), which later evolved to Inverloch).
