B est be known as the main band of Patrick Lachman, one-time Halford guitarist as well as the vocalist in the short-lived post-Pantera band Damageplan, Diesel Machine would debut in 2000 with Torture Test under the membership A.J. Cavalier (vocals), Patrick Lachman (ex-Damageplan/ex-Gargoyle/ex-Halford; guitars), Rich Gonzalez (bass) and Shane Gaalaas (ex-Artension/ex-Yngwie J. Malmsteen/ex-Michael Schenker Group; drums). It would be a full twenty years before the follow-up, Evolve (2020), would come.
