HiraxBIOGRAPHYHirax (1984-1989, 2000-present): a Speed Metal band from Buena Park, California, USA. O riginally under the formation of L.A. Kaos and then as K.G.B., Hirax reformed and got its name when Katon W. de Pena (vocals) noticed the term "Hirax" on the antique newspaper-styled wallpaper in the bathroom of friend Brian Keith's house. And so the name stuck for the debut Raging Violence (1985) under the membership of de Pena with Scott Owen (guitars), Gary Monardo (bass) and John Tabares (drums). Hate, Fear and Power (1986) followed featuring Eric Brecht on drums. Two EPs in the form of Assassins of War (2007) and Chaos and Brutality EP (2007) followed respectively featuring Greg Eickmier (guitars), then James Joseph Hubler (6 string guitars (acoustic)/guitars)), Justin Lent (bass/guitars/12 string guitar (acoustic)) and Nick Seelinger (drums) also respectively. More EPs would follow after the full-length The New Age of Terror with new members Dave Watson (guitars) and Jorge Iacobellis (drums), in the form of Assassins of War (2007) and Chaos and Brutality (2007) respectively, with Lance Harrison (lead guitars), Steve Harrison (bass) and Fabricio Ravelli (drums).
