F.K.U.BIOGRAPHY F.K.U. (1987-1988, 1997-present): a Thrash Metal band from Uppsala, Sweden. T he band F.K.U. (the initials apparently short for "Freddy Krueger's Underwear") brings together a quartet of Swedes who collectively have quite a heavy metal pedigree. That pedigree including such diverse bands as Scarve, Mayadome, Midas Touch and Andromeda. Under the initial membership of Theo Savidis (drums), Patrik Sporrong (bass/vocals (backing)), Peter Lans (guitars/vocals (backing)) and Lawrence 'Larry' Mackrory (vocals (lead)/vocals (backing)/bass: track 18) F.K.U. would debut with Metal Moshing Mad (1999). Sometimes They Come Back ... to Mosh (2005), Where Moshers Dwell (2009) and 4: Rise of the Mosh Mongers (2013) followed until 1981 (2017) saw a line-up change featuring Emil Berglin taking over drums. The Horror and the Metal (2024) came next.
