Desolation AngelsBIOGRAPHYDesolation Angels (1981-1994, 2012-present): a NWOBHM band from International. T he band relocated to Los Angeles, California in 1987-88. They eventually returned to England in the early '90s before splitting up in May 1994. Reformed in 2012. The act would debut with Desolation Angels (1986) after membership changes settling on Brett Robertson (drums), Keith Sharp (guitars), Robin Brancher (guitars), Joe Larner (bass) and Dave Wall (vocals). While the Flame Still Burns (1990) saw Sam Willmore (drums) and Dave Scutt (bass). The problem was that by the time their debut came to fruition, not to mention the sophomore effort, the NWOBHM wave had come ashore. The lack of production quality didn't help either. After several decades on the sidelines, the band decided to give it another go and reformed in 2012 under the membership of Sharp and Brancher now with Clive Pearson (bass), Chris Takka (drums) and Paul Taylor (vocals) to release King (2017) and Burning Black (2022) with Richie Yeates taKing lead guitars. ** This article is also available on our official app.
