heir name Hin Onde translates to "The Devil", or literally "The Evil One" and in 1999 the band formerly called Calm would debut with the Fiery September Fire EP under the membership of Narqath (Real Name: Tomi Kalliola; vocals/guitars/keyboards), Jani Loikas (bass), Wircki (Real Name: Mikko Virkki; keyboards) and V-KhaoZ (Real Name: Ville Pallonen; drums/percussion). Songs of Battle, the follow-up, followed in 2000 as a three-piece with Narqath, Wircki and V-KhaoZ, but Shades of Solstice (2003) then featured Jani Hytönen on vocals (clean).
