ormerly, then later reclaiming the name Apocalypse, Omega ("Omega" being the last letter of the Greek alphabet; in contrast to "alpha" (the first letter), it is often associated with the idea of ​​the end) would debut with The Prophet in 1985 under the line-up Dave Robertson (R.I.P. 2011; bass/vocals), Graham Roberts (drums), Nick Brent (guitars/vocals) and Steve Grainger (guitars (lead)/keyboards/vocals). As it happens, this would be the only recording for the band split sometime around 2012.
