Alabama ThunderpussyBIOGRAPHYAlabama Thunderpussy (1996-2008, 2022-present): a Stoner Metal band from Richmond, Virginia, USA. O ne of those bands with a name you just can't forget, Alabama Thunderpussy have been around a while, with their earlier releases on the stoner label 'Man's Ruin' before signing to 'Relapse' in 2002. Bryan Cox (drums), Erik Larson (guitars) and Asechiah Bogdan (guitars) founded ATP in 1996. Bill Storms (bass) and Johnny Throckmorton (vocals) completed the lineup. After their debuts Rise Again (1998) and River City Revival (1999), Sam Krivanec now assumed bass. After 2000's Constellation, Staring at the Divine (2001), John Peters took bass, and Ryan Lake replaced Bogdan on guitars. Alabama Thunderpussy parted ways with vocalist Johnny Throckmorton by the release of Fulton Hill (2004) where John Weills filled his position. The vocals position was traded again with Kyle Thomas for Open Fire (2007), along with Mikey Bryant on bass. ** This article is also available on our official app.
