Sinister Black (1986-1994, 1996, 2011, 2014, 2023-present): a Thrash Metal band from Lansing, Michigan, USA.

eaturing the line-up of Doug Fischer (R.I.P. 2011; bass), Tim Lau (drums), Bjorn Krejcik (guitars) and Kevin Tarbell (vocals/lyrics) by the time their debut Court of Corruption was released in 1990, Sinister Black has gone through many repeated reformation efforts over the years since. One appearance in the band of note was Doug Horstman of Ded Engine, a band they shared a rehearsal space with early on, jammed with them for a brief period of time in 1986 until their lineup stabilized but he was never an official band member.
