uitarist and vocalist Bjørn Dencker Gjerde (aka Aldrahn) has been a notable member of the Norwegian heavy metal scene for years, best known for his vocal work with Dødheimsgard as well as collaborating in Thorns to mention just two, would find Urarv as his solo band, debuting in 2017 with Aurum featuring assistance by Sturt (Real Name: Jens B. Johansen; bass) and Trish (Real Name: Trish Kolsvart; drums). The EP Argentum (2018) followed. SlabadAn KirIchniSt would assume backing vocals and acoustic guitars on track 4 of Substratum (2023).
