Acid DrinkersBIOGRAPHYAcid Drinkers (1986-2020, 2024-present): a Thrash Metal band from Poznan, Poland. I t was September 21st, 1986 when Titus (Real Name: Tomasz Pukacki; vocals/bass) met Litza (Real Name: Robert Friedrich; guitars/vocals) after six months without seeing each other, at the Poznań Arena, about an hour before an Iron Maiden concert when Titus proposed forming a band. The pair teamed up with guitarist Dariusz Popowicz (a.k.a. Popcorn) and drummer Piotr Kuik (soon after replaced by Ślimak (Real Name: Maciej Głuchowski)). The first incarnation of the band was put on hiatus when Titus was recruited by the Polish army. In the mean time, Litza and Popcorn reactivated their side-project Slavoy, to later join Turbo and Wolf Spider, respectively. The band would be resurrected in 1989 and for the next ten years they toured and worked on making a name for themselves with the Are You a Rebel? (1990), Dirty Money, Dirty Tricks (1991), Strip Tease(1992), Vile Vicious Vision(1993), Fishdick Full-length (1994), Infernal Connection(1994) The State of Mind Report (1996) and High Proof Cosmic Milk (1998) recordings. Read All... ⏬ For the EP Acid Drinkers 1985 / 3 Version 4 Yonash (1995), the membership featured Artur Rudy (bass), Rekin (drums) and Chomik (drums (tracks 4 and 5); Real Name: Piotr Kuik - tracks before he left the band earlier). After the recording of High Proof Cosmic Milk, Litza quit, and was replaced by Guess Why leader Przemysław Wejmann (a.k.a. Perła), who stayed in the band for the next four years for the albums Amazing Atomic Activity (1999), Broken Head (2000) and Acidofilia (2002) but wuld leave due to musical differences, leaving Tomasz Lipnicki (a.k.a. Lipa) to take his duties starting with Rock Is Not Enough.. (2004). But the follow-up, Verses of Steel (2008), would see that role once again replaced, with Olass (Real Name: Aleksander Mendyk; R.I.P. 2008; vocals/guitars), but upon his death Jankiel (Real Name: Wojciech Moryto) was in his place for the next release, Fishdick zwei - The Dick Is Rising Again (2010).
