merican thrash metal act E-X-E would start in 1984 under the name Executioner before shortening the name to release Stricken by Might (1987) under the membership of Adam "Muammar" Marigliano (guitars), Rui "Evil" Tavora (guitars), R.H. Boeckel (bass/vocals (lead)), Charles Lopez (drums) and Joseph Palma (vocals (lead)). The follow-up recording, Sicker than I Thought! (1990), saw a line-up change in the form of Tommy Lee Haley (vocals), Gus Silva (bass) and Bill Gerdes (drums). The band would reform in 2015 under the membership of Rui Tavora (guitars), Adam Marigliano (guitars), Tony Leone (drums) and PJ Griffith (vocals) to release the Anti​-​Hero of a Thousand Faces that same year but they have yet to record again.
