3rd Stage AlertBIOGRAPHY 3rd Stage Alert (1982-1985): a Heavy Metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA. 1 980's rock style act 3rd Stage Alert only completed one album before splitting in 1985 under the membership of Dave Drury (vocals), Al Morris (guitars (lead)), Guilio Lomma (guitars (rhythm)), Ron Murray (bass) and Mark Edwards (drums) to release the self-titled 3rd Stage Alert EP in 1984. The album went largely unnoticed with the band's name-to-fame resting on their appearances on the Metal Massacre II (Metal Blade, 1982), Metal Massacre III (Metal Blade, 1983) and Metal Massacre Limited Edition Picture Disc Box (Metal Blade, 1984) compilations among others with the track Mind Invader.
