Detonation

nitially forming in 1997 as Infernal Dream, Detonation would form in 1998 under the membership of Koen Romeijn (guitars/vocals), Thomas Kalksma (drums), Mike Ferguson (guitars) and Otto Schimmelpenninck (bass) to release a demo that same year. It would be, however, in 2000 that theior debut EP, Lost Euphoria would follow.

In 2002 An Epic Defiance came, to be followed by Portals to Uphobia (2005), Emission Phase (2997) and Reprisal (2011).

The first line-up change would occur in 2013 when Matthieu Boer took drums replacing Kalksma and Allard van der Kuip (2011-2012) respectively, and Harry van Breda (2011-2012) temporarily on bass before the return of Schimmelpenninck.
