his SoCal band generated quite a bit of buzz surrounding their debut full-album release in 2012, Spell Eater under the membership of Eric Harris (bass), Carl Wierzbicky (drums), Blake Meahl (guitars (lead)), Ian Alden (guitars (rhythm)) and Jill Janus (R.I.P. 2018; vocals/lyrics), thanks to quite a bit of promotion from 'Napalm Records' proclaiming them a potential Next Big Thing. The follow-up, Starbound Beast (2013), saw Ant "Pockets" Crocamo take guitars. Their last album, Static (2015) saw a reset of the band of sorts with it reduced to a four-piece of Blake Meahl (guitars (lead)), Jill Janus (R.I.P. 2018; vocals), Tyler Meahl (drums) and Eli Santana (guitars (rhythm)) but Janus, who was suffering from many forms of mental illness, committed suicide in 2018 thus ending the band.
