Borealis

BIOGRAPHY

Borealis (2005-present): a Power Metal band from Orangeville, Ontario, Canada.

t would be under the membership of Matt Marinelli (guitars/vocals), Sean Werlick (keyboards), Jamie Smith (bass) and Sean Dowell (drums) that Borealis would debut three years after its founding with World of Silence (2008). Fall from Grace (2011) followed featuring Ken Fobert on guitars along side Marinelli but he would not be in this position long for by the follow-up, Purgatory (2015), Michael Briguglio would assume it.

For World of Silence MMXVII (2017) and The Offering (2018), Trevor McBride would assume bass. By Illusions (2022), however, the band was reduced to a three-piece of Sean Dowell (drums), Ken Fobert (guitars/bass) and Matt Marinelli (vocals/guitars) for Illusions (2022); later that same year, Aiden Watkinson took bass.
