Postmortem

A

rriving in 1991, Germany's Postmortem arrived onto the scene featuring Marcus Marth (guitars), Matthias Rütz (vocals), Tilo Voigtländer (bass), Marko Thäle (drums) and Sven Gohdes (guitars) in their membership to release two demos before launching their studio debut proper in the form of Screams of Blackness in 1994 now with Dirk Olesch now on guitars in place of Gohdes. The Der Totmacher EP, The Age of Massmurder, Repulsion, and the Storm Force EP followed in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000 respectively.

The next membership change occurred for Constant Hate (2008) with Max Scheffler taking drums. This line-up carried on for Seeds of Devastation (2010), Bloodground Messiah (2012) and The Bowls of Wrath (2014). A split album followed in 2020.
