From First to LastBIOGRAPHYFrom First to Last (1999-2010, 2013-present): a Emo band from Tampa, Florida, USA. A merican post-hardcore band From First to Last formed in Tampa, Florida but based in Los Angeles, California was formed by Matt Good (guitar/keyboards/programming/vocals), Scott Oord (bass/backing vocals) and Parker Nelms (drums/percussion) in November 1999. In 2003 the band released their first EP titled Aesthetic which they recorded with founding member and vocalist Phillip Reardon who left the band in 2004 due to personal and creative differences. In February of 2007, Moore left to work on his solo electronic project. He would be replaced by bassist Matt Manning, while Good moved to lead vocals/guitar. After signing with 'Suretone Records', the band issued their self-titled (2008) to mixed reviews under the line-up of Matt Good (lead vocals/lead guitar/keyboards/synthesizers/programming), Blake Steiner (rhythm guitar/unclean vocals), Matt Manning (bass/background unclean vocals), Derek Bloom (drums/percussion/programming/additional guitars/background vocals), and despite receiving a high-profile marketing campaign from the label, the album undersold expectations. The band moved to 'Rise Records' in late 2009. Richter soon after left before the release of their fourth studio album, Throne to the Wolves (2010), but by July of the same year, the band entered a hiatus.
