Circle of Dead ChildrenBIOGRAPHYCircle of Dead Children (1998-2014): a Death Metal band from Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. S ettling on the membership of Joe Horvath (vocals), Dave Good (bass), Jon Miciolek (drums), Jon Kubacka (guitars) and Jason Andrews (guitars), Circle of Dead Children would launch themselves with Starving the Vultures (1999) and the Exotic Sense Decay EP (1999). After the split release, Circle of Dead Children / C.S.S.O. (1999), they would follow it up with The Genocide Machine (2001) featuring Alf Kooser on bass. The band name was created by Horvath after a disturbing daydream (or day-mare) featuring an image of a flag from every country laid down on the ground in a circle and on top of each flag was a dead child from that country, hence the name, Circle of Dead Children. For the release of Human Harvest (2003), the line-up was reduced to just Horvath and Andrews, adding only Mike Rosswog on drums. Mike Bartek would then take drums, and Drew Haritan would take bass/electronics/noise for Zero Comfort Margin (2005). The drum position was once again swapped with Matt Francis for Psalm of the Grand Destroyer (2010), after which Brooks Criswell would take over bass before the band split in 2014. ** This article is also available on our official app.
