Anaal NathrakhBIOGRAPHYAnaal Nathrakh (1999-present): a Black Metal band from Birmingham, UK. B ritish extreme metal band Anaal Nathrakh was formed in 1999 in Birmingham, UK by multi-instrumentalist Mick Kenney (a.k.a. Irrumator; also later co-founder of 'FETO Records' and owner of Misanthropy Clothing) and vocalist Dave Hunt (a.k.a. V.I.T.R.I.O.L.). For a brief while (1999-2000) Leicia would assist on bass. Over their time many musicians assisted for live performances as well. The act has had a remarkably and refreshingly stable membership over its existence. The first two demos from 1999, Anaal Nathrakh and Total Fucking Necro were later re-released on the compilation album, Total Fucking Necro, the following year. The band took their founding cues from Norwegian black metal bands like Mayhem, Burzum and Darkthrone. The duo delivered their first full album, The Codex Necro, in 2001 and their debut EP, When Fire Rains Down from the Sky, Mankind Will Reap as It Has Sown (2003). In 2004, Anaal Nathrakh released their second full-length album, Domine Non Es Dignus, on the French label 'Season of Mist'. In 2006, their third album, Eschaton (commonly referred to as the "end of the world" or "end times"), was released featuring guest appearances by Shane Embury of Napalm Death and Attila Csihar of Mayhem.
