The DefiledBIOGRAPHY The Defiled (2005-2016): a Industrial Metal band from London, UK. F our-piece British band The Defiled formed in from London in 2005 and mixed groove-laden hardcore industrial metal with electronic music influences. The band quickly embarked a number of tours early in their career earning the band a reputation for energetic and chaotic live shows. Their debut membership would feature Aaron Curse (guitar), Drex Exel (bass), Stitch D (lead vocals/guitar) and The AvD (programming/synthesizer/keyboards/backing vocals/drums). With a series of sought-after demos trading between fans, the band released their first EP, 1888, in 2009, and their debut full album, Grave Times for free (no cost), in the January issue of Metal Hammer magazine. The deluxe edition of the album (including a bonus disc of the remastered 1888, and 2 music videos) was released in February 2011. By this time, the membership had changed to boast Vincent Hyde (bass) and Paul "Needles" White (drums; who replaced J.C. who was in place from 2008-2012). The band called it quits in 2016 but not before Daggers (2013) was released.
