MedusaBIOGRAPHY Medusa (1978-1982): a NWOBHM band from Evesham, Worcestershire, UK. F eaturing the line-up of Nicholas Beard (bass), Lance Perkins (ex-Wrathchild; guitars), Steve Grimmett (RIP 2022; ex-(Grim Reaper/Grimmstine/Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper/The Sanity Days/Steve Grimmett/Heidt/Onslaught/The Three Tremors (live)/Chateaux/Friction/Lionsheart/Seven Deadly Sins); vocals) and Phil (drums; who replaced Eddie Smith when he left in 1982 during the waning days of the band), Medusa released only a posthumous compilation and a split. The band's biggest name to fame was being a breeding ground for musicians that went on to bigger things, most noted being Perkins and Grimmett.
