ichigan based Tyrant launched themselves onto the scene with the Purge EP (2014) under the membership of Andrew Winters (drums), Philip Winters (guitars/vocals) and Tristan Farris (bass). Black Hand (2016) followed featuring Anderson Creager now on bass. When the band returned with their first debut full-length album, The Pact (2018), the line-up had changed again to boast Cory McLain now on bass and Tony Garza augmenting Winters on guitars. This membership change didn't last long, for Isaac Cisneros had taken bass but only for two years before Charles Barber replaced Garza and Salvador Mora was now on bass for The Lowest Level (2022).
