PhlegethonBIOGRAPHY Phlegethon (1988-1992, 1995, 2006-present): a Death Metal band from Joensuu, Finland. T his on-again-off-again band would release only a single EP,Fresco Lungs (1991), featuring Lasse Pyykkö (drums/keyboards/guitars (acoustic)), Juha Tykkyläinen (guitars (lead)/keyboards), Teemu Hannonen (guitars) and Jussi Nyblom (vocals/bass), and a split, Weird Tales of Madness (1991), with Tormentor, Necrophile, Atrocious, Funebre and Desolation. Two compilations followed but no full-length albums before the band went on hold. Hannonen and Pyykkö would go on to form Hooded Menace. ** This article is also available on our official app.
