RequiemBIOGRAPHY Requiem (2012-2022): a Thrash Metal band from Ararat, Victoria, Australia. N ot to be confused with Requiem from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia or Requiem from Seaford, Victoria, Australia or Requiem the black metal act from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (pre-Black Bile), this Requiem would feature Gerard May (bass), Aaryn Dunks (drums), Angus McMillan (guitars/vocals) and Zacharie Dunks (guitars/vocals) to release their debut as an EP in 2015 as Damnation. Their follow-up, And the Earth Grew Dark (2018) featured half of the line-up changing to Jye Mathews now on guitars and Tom Hainsworth on bass. For their Shatter Brain / Requiem split with Shatter Brain in 2021, Aiden McEune had taken the lead guitar spot. The band split soon after.
