CainBIOGRAPHY Cain (1991-present): a Doom Metal band from Birmingham, UK. O riginally forming in 1980 under the name Born Loser, Cain would rename themselves in 1991 to release their one and only recording Cain (1992) under the membership of Peter J. Nash (bass/effects), Clive Meldrum (drums/percussion/effects), Steve O'Connor (guitars/effects) and John Doom (Real Name: John Pickering; guitars/vocals/keyboards/effects). The band has since disbanded and then restarted but have yet to record again.
